"Gangnam Style" Interesting Music Video

This music video is so popular NOW in everywhere. It originally from korean rapper PSY, but I can hear this song all around the places in ann arbor, from the radio and TV. Lets check this out!

English Translation:

Oppa is Gangnam style
Gangnam style
A girl who is warm and humanle during the day
A classy girl who know how to enjoy the freedom of a cup of coffee
A girl whose heart gets hotter when night comes
A girl with that kind of twist
I’m a guy
A guy who is as warm as you during the day
A guy who one-shots his coffee before it even cools down
A guy whose heart bursts when night comes
That kind of guy
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh
A girl who looks quiet but plays when she plays
A girl who puts her hair down when the right time comes
A girl who covers herself but is more sexy than a girl who bares it all
A sensable girl like that
I’m a guy
A guy who seems calm but plays when he plays
A guy who goes completely crazy when the right time comes
A guy who has bulging ideas rather than muscles
That kind of guy
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh
On top of the running man is the flying man, baby baby
I’m a man who knows a thing or two
On top of the running man is the flying man, baby baby
I’m a man who knows a thing or two
You know what I’m saying
Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh

Meaning of good weather

Now, it is about 9:30 and I FEEL fresh air and natural smell by walking to class from my home!
It is little chilly to wear short, but I did it anyways :)
I found good quote for today :

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.  ~John Ruskin

September 17th Class Project " Colorful Paper Cranes around the place"

In class, we created many paper cranes to remind of Sadako's sad story and tried to express what we thoughts by doing an installation of paper cranes outsides. We put cranes in several environmental places such as grass, flowers and water to see how paper crane works with real nature. It turn out great and we hope people will think about the meaning of crane when they look at this pictures.

Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes

Sadako was only a baby when an atom bomb was dropped on Hiroshima in 1945. Nine years later, she is an energetic sixth grader who loves to run and wants to join the racing team. But then she starts getting dizzy spells. She tries to keep it a secret but one day she gets sick at school. She has leukemia, the atom bomb disease. Her best friend tells her the story of the cranes. If she folds one thousand paper cranes then she can get well. For nearly a year, Sadako folds cranes and remains optimistic. She folds 644 cranes before she dies. This story of one little girl’s courage and determination continues to inspire people around the world.

Pop art

"The term first appeared in Britain during the 1950s and referred to the interest of a number of artists in the images of mass media, advertising, comics and consumer products. The 1950s were a period of optimism in Britain following the end of war-time rationing, and a consumer boom took place. Influenced by the art seen in Eduardo Paolozzi's 1953 exhibition Parallel between Art and Life at the Institute for Contemporary Arts, and by American artists such as Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg, British artists such as Richard Hamilton and the Independent Group aimed at broadening taste into more popular, less academic art. Hamilton helped organize the 'Man, Machine, and Motion' exhibition in 1955, and 'This is Tomorrow' with its landmark image Just What is it that makes today's home so different, so appealing? (1956). Pop Art therefore coincided with the youth and pop music phenomenon of the 1950s and '60s, and became very much a part of the image of fashionable, 'swinging' London. Peter Blake, for example, designed album covers for Elvis Presley and the Beatles and placed film stars such as Brigitte Bardot in his pictures in the same way that Warhol was immortalizing Marilyn Monroe in the USA. Pop art came in a number of waves, but all its adherents - Joe Trilson, Richard Smith, Peter Phillips, David Hockney and R.B. Kitaj - shared some interest in the urban, consumer, modern experience." What I saw though small window

Why is the sky blue? This would depend on who you are, and they would have entirely different answers. When I was a child, I asked, Mommy, why is the sky blue? She said sky is blue because that is the way God made it. Even though the answer was wrong, I could tell the sky that I saw there was same as what I saw into my window The color blue makes me the most serene. Sky blue is calming and optimistic, and relaxing
